People: new vice-governors in Burundi and the UAE

UAE: The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates has named Khaled Mohammed Balama Al Tameemi as vice-governor. He took up the role on February 1.
Al Tameemi was previously a board member at the central bank and the country’s General Pension and Social Security Authority. He is a former executive director in charge of the real assets department at the Abu Dhabi Investment Council.
The central bank said Al Tameemi’s appointment will help it “accelerate the transformation” of the local financial
