People: new vice-governors in Burundi and the UAE

Plus appointments at the CFTC and Caribbean Development Bank

UAE: The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates has named Khaled Mohammed Balama Al Tameemi as vice-governor. He took up the role on February 1.

Al Tameemi was previously a board member at the central bank and the country’s General Pension and Social Security Authority. He is a former executive director in charge of the real assets department at the Abu Dhabi Investment Council.
