Phillipines central bank says new website has improved comms
BSP says website’s mobile-friendly design and chatbot has boosted effectiveness
The Philippine central bank says its revamped website has seen a major increase in mobile phone-based traffic during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) tells Central Banking that the new website is designed to be more mobile-friendly than the previous version.
The proportion of people accessing the central bank’s website using mobile phones has increased to 47% in the first three quarters of 2020, up from 32% in 2017 and 37% in 2018. Communication via the website has
