Indonesia: Economist Doni Joewono has been sworn in as deputy governor at Bank Indonesia, the central bank said on August 11.

Doni took the oath of office for his five-year term before the chief justice of the country’s Supreme Court. He replaces Erwin Rijanto, whose term ended on June 16.
