Norges Bank signs working agreement with Nicolai Tangen
Tangen’s appointment as SWF chief had been questioned due to his relationship with his predecessor
Norges Bank signed a working agreement with Nicolai Tangen on May 28, in spite of an expenses scandal and possible conflict of interest highlighted by the central bank’s supervisory council.
On March 26, the institution first announced Tangen’s appointment as new chief executive of Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), the administrator of the $1 trillion sovereign wealth fund Government Pension Fund Global (GPFG).
But in April his appointment become embroiled in a scandal. It was revealed
