Alejandro Díaz de León commemorates Bank of Mexico’s 25 years of independence
The governor of the Bank of Mexico, Alejandro Díaz de León, warned populists’ attacks on central bank independence may imperil the stability accomplished since the 1990s.
Díaz de León pointed out the dangers posed by rising political polarisation and populism at an event commemorating the Bank of Mexico’s 25 years of autonomy on November 22.
