Erdoğan sidelines senior central bank officials
Move follows dismissal of governor Murat Çetinkaya in July
The assembly of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey appears to have removed a group of key senior officials from their positions on August 8.
According to international media reports, the central bank implemented a comprehensive reorganisation that became effective today (August 9). This includes the removal of over 10 senior officials, according to news agency Reuters.
Among those named are chief economist Hakan Kara, research and monetary policy general manager Pinar Ozlu, markets
