“We have a ‘power-in-numbers’ approach,” says officer at San Francisco Fed
On February 28, 150 people, of whom 98 were undergraduate women from 19 different universities across nine different US states, met at the Federal Reserve Bank of St Louis.
The gathering was the second annual Women in Economics conference the bank has hosted. Next year, due to its early successes, the St Louis Fed is collaborating with reserve banks across the Federal Reserve System to roll out the conference to new audiences.
