Carolyn Rogers to take over as Basel Committee secretary-general
William Coen to step down this year after 20 years with the committee
Canada’s Carolyn Rogers is to take over as secretary-general of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, as William Coen prepares to step down later this year.
Rogers will serve an initial term of three years, starting on August 14, the Basel Committee said in a statement today (March 22). She will also serve as chair of the committee’s Policy Development Group, a role Coen similarly holds.
