People: Kenyan and Samoan governors named to UN digital task force
Kenya’s Njoroge and Samoa’s Ainuu-Enari to investigate digital impact on financial inclusion
US: The governor of both the Central Bank of Samoa and the Bank of Kenya have been selected to sit on the United Nations’ new task force on Digital Financing of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Kenyan governor Patrick Njoroge and Samoan counterpart Maiva Atalina Emma Ainuu-Enari will sit with nine other members.
‘’I recognise this is a very rare opportunity to be involved in shaping global action,” Ainuu-Enari said.
