People: Macedonia appoints two female vice-governors
ECB brings statistics expert from Eurostat; RBNZ creates position of manager communications
Two female nominees took up their roles as vice-governors at the Macedonian central bank, after the country’s parliament voted unanimously to appoint them.
Emilija Nacevska and Ana Mitreska were both nominated for the roles by governor Anita Angelovska Bezoska. Parliament voted them into office on October 18, and they took up their roles the following day, the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia said.
