People: Bank of Russia appoints new Moscow chief

Russia: The Bank of Russia has gained a new chief at its main branch for the Central Federal District, based in Moscow. The former holder of the role appears to have been demoted.
Nadezhda Ivanova, the new chief, was the adviser to the governor and previously served as a deputy governor.
Ilshat Yangirov, who formerly held the role of chief, has been moved to the position of first deputy at the branch.
A short statement announcing the news gave no explanation for Yangirov’s apparent demotion
