Experts’ panel appointed for RBNZ mandate review
A panel of three external experts will provide report to Minister of Finance
The New Zealand government has appointed an independent expert panel to provide “input and support” for the review of the Reserve Bank Act.
Former Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) director Suzanne Snively is appointed to chair the panel and is joined by Malcolm Edey, former Reserve Bank of Australia assistant governor, and Girol Karacaoglu, head of the School of Government at Victoria University of Wellington.
