Trump’s choice for Fed regulation chief says hindsight is a wonderful thing, as he defends actions around crisis
President Donald Trump’s choice for regulation chief at the US Federal Reserve Board faced a grilling from members of the Senate on his suitability to take up the post on July 27.
Randal Quarles, who is the nominee to serve as a governor on the US central bank’s board and vice-chairman for supervision, was questioned on actions he had taken throughout his career in both the public and private sector.
