Bank of England appoints new COO and deputy governor
Central bank announces replacements for Charlotte Hogg and Minouche Shafik
The Bank of England unveiled two new additions to its senior management team today (July 27), including a replacement for Charlotte Hogg, who resigned in March.
Joanna Place has been made chief operating officer, a position ranking on a par with deputy governors. She previously held the role in an acting capacity after Hogg stepped down.
