BBC claims ‘secret recording’ implicates BoE in Libor scandal

The BBC claims it has obtained a “secret recording” that “implicates” the Bank of England in the Libor rigging scandal.

The UK’s public broadcaster said today (April 10) its Panorama programme had obtained the recording, in which a senior Barclays manager, Mark Dearlove, instructs one of the bank’s Libor submitters, Peter Johnson, to lower the rates he submits.
