FMI transparency needs to improve, Chile deputy says

Increasing the transparency of Chile's financial market infrastructure is one of the items on the central bank's "long to-do list", a deputy governor said.

Speaking at a seminar on developments and challenges for financial market infrastructure, Sebastián Claro said there was "enough room" for infrastructures to be "proactive" in "addressing gaps" when it came to improving governance and transparency.

"The central bank has already taken measures to increase the transparency of its settlement
