IFC report finds many central banks are seeking ways to better share micro data

Central banks are on the hunt for better ways to share micro data, both within their organisations and with external institutions, according to a survey published on December 12.

The report, by the Bank for International Settlements' Irving Fisher Committee (IFC), finds the vast majority of central banks view data-sharing as important within their organisation, while a smaller but still significant proportion see external sharing as important as well.
