Central Bank of Brazil establishes data portal
Central bank creates hub for 454 data sets, combining data from government database and other sources
The Central Bank of Brazil has established an "open data portal", which compiles a database of 454 data sets from different official sources across the country.
Launched on November 24, the portal draws in data from sources such as the government data portal, which was launched in 2012. Until now, many of the data sets were scattered and lacked a central access point where the public could find them.
