Supervisor warns conference banks will need to shape up their Ilaap responses for 2017
Liquidity stress testing has become increasingly crucial to European regulators, said a senior European Central Bank (ECB) supervisor at a conference in London on September 20, as he fired a warning shot at eurozone banks over the results of their first annual liquidity assessment.
“What has changed, since the crisis, is that the supervisors’ expectations have increased and [liquidity stress testing] is now becoming an area of focus,” Armin Leistenschneider, head of section in the methodology
