Liberia appoints board member as new governor

New appointee comes from private sector

Milton Weeks has been appointed to lead the central bank of Liberia, by the country's president, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. Weeks, formerly managing director of an investment advisory firm, was appointed on April 15, according to a statement published by the president's office.
