New governor of Central Bank of Ireland says he will be in ‘regular touch’ with colleagues

Philip Lane told Central Bank of Ireland staff he intended to be in "regular touch" throughout his tenure in a video message on his first day as governor.

In the video, published on November 26, Lane praised his predecessor, Patrick Honohan, for his "insight, wisdom and knowledge" and argued his contributions were "critical for the bank and for Ireland".
