UK: The board of the Bank of England's Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), the body tasked with the supervision of around 1,700 banks, building societies, credit unions, insurers and major investment firms, will see four additions and one departure in the coming few weeks.
David Thorburn and Norval Bryson were named as independent members of the PRA's board from September 1. Thorburn has spent 36 years in retail and commercial banking, most recently as chief executive of Clydesdale Bank. He
