Kenyans invited to apply for central bank governor job
Central bank also looking for second deputy governor and board chairman
Kenyans can now apply for the position of central bank governor after Njuguna Ndung'u retired earlier this month, in a recruitment process launched yesterday.
The country's Public Service Commission released an advert for the positions of governor, deputy governor and chairman of the board of the Central Bank of Kenya. Previously, the top role has been filled through direct appointment by the president, but a change in legislation has prompted a new approach.
