Irish central bank to track 'hostile' social media comments

The Central Bank of Ireland wants to hire a social media snoop to sniff out consumer complaints about Irish banks on websites such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

It has requested tenders for an online platform that will allow it to "track conversations on all the main online/social media forums" for information that points to problems at the financial institutions it regulates.
