Oman and Bahrain central banks outline plans for Eid

The Central Bank of Bahrain and the Central Bank of Oman have announced the days the institutions will be closed for Eid celebrations. Bahrain has also circulated 16.9 million dinar ($44.8 million) worth of new notes and coins to deal with demand.

In Oman, all banks will remain closed between August 19 and 22. Commercial banks will reopen on August 23, but the central bank will be shut for one more day. However, the central bank said the relevant banking operations departments will be open to
