Indonesia enters China interbank bond market

Bank Indonesia and the People's Bank of China (PBoC) on July 23 announced they had reached an agreement allowing the Indonesian central bank to invest in China's interbank bond market.

A deal was believed to have been reached over the weekend and, according to a statement posted on the PBoC's website, both parties believe the step will help expand financial cooperation between the two countries.
