Hildebrand settles at BlackRock

Philipp Hildebrand

Philipp Hildebrand, the former governor of the Swiss National Bank (SNB), was today (June 13) announced as the new vice-chairman of money managers BlackRock. Based in London, Hildebrand will be in charge of overseeing the firm's largest institutional client relationships in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific regions.

Hildebrand left the SNB following a currency trading scandal involving his wife. Soon after resigning he was named a senior visiting fellow at the Blavatnik
