Ukraine releases banking group identification regulation

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on May 17 released a translated excerpt from a new regulation introduced in the country in April, which sets out the procedure for the identification and designation of banking groups in the country.

The new rule represents a step towards bringing the NBU regulations in line with European Union regulations and the principles adopted by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, the central bank said.
