Indonesia’s Nasution discusses global and domestic pressures

The governor of Bank Indonesia, Darmin Nasution, has expressed concerns that continuing uncertainty in the global economy, together with domestic economic problems, might challenge growth in the country.

In a speech on February 13 titled 'Sustaining growth during global volatility', Nasution said macro stability in Indonesia should not be taken for granted. "This assumption can lead us to [a] comfort zone that would reduce our ability to anticipate future challenges early on," the governor said
