Papademos flies to Athens as Greece decides on new leader
Lucas Papademos, a former vice-president of the European Central Bank (ECB) and ex-governor of the Bank of Greece, flew into Athens on Monday ahead of final talks to select a leader of Greece's new coalition government.
Papademos, who currently works as a visiting professor of public policy at Harvard University, had arrived in Greece as prime minister George Papandreou's socialist party and opposition leader Antonis Samaras complete discussions on the country's next leader.
