Indonesia announces deputy governor candidates
The Indonesian president, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, on Monday submitted to the House of Representatives the names of the candidates for two deputy governor roles at Bank Indonesia.
The president nominated four candidates, who will now undergo "fit and proper testing", according to the central bank's statement.
Muliaman Hadad, currently a deputy governor at Bank Indonesia, was put forward to serve another term when his current one ends in December. However, an external candidate was also named to
