Bank of Israel reviews lessons learnt from crisis

A Bank of Israel report, published on Wednesday, looks into the global financial crisis and how the central bank can improve the early adoption of emergency measures in Israel.

The report said that while the financial system in Israel weathered the storm relatively well, there were concerns over the stability of some financial institutions and the functioning of the financial system, in particular the non-bank credit market, which was essentially paralysed during the crisis.
