Estonia ousts deputy governors

Madis Müller, a fund manager at the International Finance Corporation, and Ulo Kaasik, head of the Bank of Estonia's policy department have been put forward as candidates for deputy governors.

The nominations follow a decision last Tuesday by the central bank's supervisory board, not to reappoint deputy governors Rein Minka and Märten Ross for a new term of office.

Both had been in office for 11 years.
