UK Treasury Committee calls on FSA to disclose details of banks’ pay
Andrew Tyrie, the chairman of the UK's Treasury Committee – an influential group of lawmakers – on Monday called on the UK's Financial Services Authority (FSA) to provide disclosure on "high-end" remuneration.
In a letter to Hector Sants, the chief executive of the FSA, Tyrie requested the regulator disclose information on the remuneration of the best-paid employees. Tyrie said the request was in line with recommendations set out in Sir David Walker's report on the governance of banks and other
