Adia appoints new chief economist

The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (Adia) on Monday named Ted Chu as its new chief economist. The government-owned sovereign wealth fund said Chu's appointment was effective immediately.

As chief economist Chu will be responsible for producing in-depth international and regional economic analysis and making recommendations based on research. He will also assist in developing, monitoring and assessing investment strategies across asset classes based on current and projected economic trends as
