Bank of England – Trends in Lending (February)

Lending slowed once again in Britain over the end of the last year, according to the Bank of England's Trends in Lending report, published on Thursday.

Net lending to businesses fell in December, with the twelve-month growth rate of bank lending to private non-financial companies slumping by 8.1%, 0.4 percentage points below the same rate in November.
