Bank Indonesia investigation officer arrested

Indonesian anti-corruption officials have arrested a prosecutor investigating allegations of misuse of central bank funds on suspicion of bribery.

A spokesman for the Corruption Eradication Commission claimed to local media on Monday 3 March that Urip Tri Gunawan, a prosecutor, was caught with $660,000 in cash over the weekend. The spokesman added that Gunawan was arrested on Sunday night and was now a graft suspect.
