Counterfeit money major concern for SEACEN

Money counterfeiting has become a central issue for member countries in the South East Asian Central Bank (SEACEN), Bank Indonesia (BI) Deputy Governor Maulana R. Ibrahim said on Monday 5 January.

"Each central bank must increase its awareness about money counterfeiting activity because forgers are continuing to operate with advanced printing technology and security features," Maulana said at the opening of a SEACEN Course.
