Swaziland to introduce RTGS system

The Central Bank of Swaziland announced Wednesday 16 May that it will soon be introducing a Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system at the beginning of June 2007.

"It is worth noting that the implementation of the RTGS system is a challenging exercise that embraces many departments in all participating banks, including the Central Bank," noted central bank governor Martin Dlamini in his annual policy statement.
