Riksbank upgrades payments system
The central bank said the new system had undergone extensive testing in co-operation with the banks and other RIX participants in preparation for the launch of the new system. All participants were, the Riksbank said, well-prepared for migration to the new system.
The existing technology of RIX, the hub of the country's payments system, was "outdated".
