US bank note experts to visit Taiwan

The Central Bank of China (CBC) has invited experts from the United States to help domestic banks dealing in foreign currency exchange to detect forged U.S. bills, CBC officials said on Monday 6 September.

The officials said the experts will speak in eight seminars in Taipei and Kaohsiung between Monday and Friday so as to help the banks upgrade their ability to detect counterfeit U.S. bills and stop counterfeit U.S. currency from circulating in Taiwan. The CBC said the seminars will be attended
