Former Hungarian governor frontrunner for premier

Gyorgy Suranyi, a former governor of the National Bank of Hungary, is seen as a frontrunner to become the next prime minister of the eastern European state.

Hungary's Alliance of Free Democrats, an opposition party, said on Wednesday said that out of three candidates put forward by the ruling Socialist party, Suranyi was favoured.
