Consumers would only allocate a small portion of €10,000 if given the choice, paper says

Most consumers would not take up the digital euro if they were given the choice, new research from the European Central Bank finds.
The paper, published on March 11, explores how the introduction of the central bank digital currency would affect consumer choices, including on payment habits and savings.
