BIS appoints heads of Switzerland and Singapore tech hubs
Cœuré says BIS’s Hong Kong hub will have head “in due course”
The Bank for International Settlements has appointed leaders for its innovation hubs in Singapore and Switzerland, it announced on February 19.
Andrew McCormack, chief information officer at Payments Canada, will head the BIS Innovation Hub Centre in Singapore. McCormack is currently responsible for Canada’s core payment systems, as well as Payments Canada’s technology strategy.
Morten Bech, head of the secretariat for the Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures, will head the centre
