New IMFC chair warns against premature stimulus withdrawal
Magadalena Andersson lays out priorities for the IMF over the coming years
Fiscal stimulus should not be withdrawn too early, Magadalena Andersson, the new chair of the International Monetary and Financial Committee, said in a speech today (January 19).
The Swedish finance minister stressed this was one of the main lessons of the global financial crisis.
