Hungary selects final two external rate-setters

Hungary's parliament has filled the remaining vacant seats on the central bank's Monetary Council after naming two external rate-setters on Monday.

A spokesperson at the Hungarian parliament said János Cinkotai, an adviser to the central bank, and György Kocziszky, a professor at the University Miskolc, had been confirmed as external members to the National Bank of Hungary's Monetary Council. Cinkotai is set to join the central bank on Tuesday while Kocziszky will delay the move until April 5
