Megan Greene to join Bank of England MPC

Kroll chief economist will succeed Silvana Tenreyro later this year

Megan Greene is to succeed Silvana Tenreyro as an external member of the Bank of England’s monetary policy committee (MPC).

Greene is currently global chief economist at consultancy Kroll, and a senior fellow at the Watson Institute at Brown University in the US. She teaches on drivers of global inequality, sovereign debt crises and monetary policy tools. She is also an academic adviser to the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
