Chicago Fed used search firm that employed Goolsbee’s wife
Board says it was aware of Robin Goolsbee’s employment
The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago confirmed the search firm it employed to help select new president Austan Goolsbee employs his wife.
His appointment was announced on December 1. He took office in January, succeeding Charles Evans.
A spokesperson for the Chicago Fed said its board was aware Robin Goolsbee worked at Diversified Search Group. “We have every confidence in the integrity of the search process,” they said.
