Ghanaian deputy governor gets second term; IMF statistics director steps down, and more
Canada: Lawrence Schembri, deputy governor of the Bank of Canada, will retire on June 17 this year.
Schembri’s term as deputy governor began in 2013. Deputy governor Sharon Kozicki will take over Schembri’s responsibilities analysing domestic developments after the bank’s April monetary policy report is released. Senior deputy governor Carolyn Rogers and deputy governor Toni Gravelle will absorb Schembri’s work overseeing the central bank’s financial system.
