People: Portugal reappoints board member two years late

Portugal: Hélder Manuel Sebastião Rosalino has been reappointed to the board of the Bank of Portugal, after a two-year delay.
Rosalino was originally appointed to the central bank’s board in 2014 for a five-year term. However, there was no renomination hearing in 2019 or 2020.
On October 15, Portugal’s Council of Ministers finally approved Rosalino’s second five-year term, but backdated the appointment to 2019. As a result, his second term will come to an end in September 2024, and he will not
